Kerry has an extensive background in competitive gymnastics, and competed as a level 9 optional gymnast. Not wanting to leave the sport even though she was finished competing, Kerry and Angela began coaching together during high school, and were soon put in charge of a compulsory gymnastic team. She has now been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading off and on over the last 13 years. Kerry is married and has 3 energetic children: Makenna, Camden, and Delaney.

Kerry continued coaching while earning her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Education from ASU and NAU. Along with teaching classes at Angela’s Flip Zone, she teaches part-time as a reading specialist in the Gilbert School District. She is a USAG instructor member, USAG Safety Certified, and certified in CPR and First aid. She attended the 2007 USAG National Congress in San Jose.
