Angela LaMagdelaine is the owner of Angela’s Flip Zone in Mesa, Arizona. She is married to a wonderful husband, Jeremy and has three beautiful children Brody, Bailey, and Brock. Angela began taking dance classes at age 3. She fell in love with the tumbling part of her combo classes and began to take gymnastics at age 6. She continued to be involved in gymnastics and cheer from then on. At 16, Angela began her first coaching job, and continued coaching through high school, college, and into her first year of teaching. Angela has coached parent & tot, preschool gymnastics, tumbling, developmental programs, pom and cheer, recreational, and competitive gymnastics for over 13 years. Angela graduated from Northern Arizona University with her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Elementary Education. She is a certified teacher and has taught 1st and 2nd grades.
In 2005 Angela began a mini home gym that soon transformed into an opportunity for her to lease her first space in 2006. After one year Angela’s Flip Zone moved to a larger space. Angela has been the tumbling coach for local cheer teams, and has also had the opportunity to choreograph routines for local cheer teams. Angela has always enjoyed teaching children and now she can share her love for the sport to children of all ages. Angela looks forward to meeting and working with all of the Flip Zone families.
She is a current USAG instructor member, holds a USAG Safety Certification, ACCAA (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors) National Safety Certified, and certified in CPR and First-aid. Angela attended the 2007 National Gymnastic Congress in San Jose where she received valuable training, and became certified in the hands on course – Preschool Fundamentals.
